SMS Messaging Policy

Effective date: Aug 28, 2026 · TradeRevive is operated by Hongin NC.

This policy describes how text messaging is expected to be used with TradeRevive, a workspace provided by Hongin NC to local service businesses. Messages are sent by the business that holds the account, to its own customers and prospects.

Consent is required

Recipients must have provided consent to receive text messages from the business contacting them — for example when requesting service, booking an appointment, or asking for a quote, in line with applicable law and the business's own disclosures. Businesses using TradeRevive must not message people who have not consented or who have asked not to be contacted.

Consent is voluntary and separate

  • Messaging consent is always voluntary and is collected separately from any terms of service, privacy notice, or other agreement — agreeing to those documents is not agreement to receive text messages.
  • A recipient can decline messaging and still continue with an unrelated signup, purchase, estimate, or service appointment. Consent is never a condition of any of those.
  • Consent applies only to the particular business and the particular messaging program the recipient agreed to. It does not transfer to another business, brand, or campaign.
  • The business that collects consent is responsible for recording it — what was disclosed, how, and when — and for producing that record if it is ever questioned.

Message content and frequency

Content and frequency vary by the recipient's service relationship with the business. Typical messages include follow-up on a past inquiry or estimate, seasonal maintenance reminders, appointment scheduling and confirmations, and replies to questions the recipient sends. Message volume depends on the conversation; recurring messages are not guaranteed and no set number of messages per month is promised.

Opt out: reply STOP

Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from that business. Opt-out requests are honored, and a recipient who opts out should not receive further outreach unless they later opt back in.

Get help: reply HELP

Recipients can reply HELP for assistance, or contact the business directly using the phone number or details in the message. For questions about the TradeRevive platform itself, write to support@traderevivepro.com.

No purchase required

Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase, and no purchase is required to receive support or to stop messages.

Carrier charges

Message and data rates may apply, according to the recipient's mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Human Takeover and oversight

Automated drafting may be used to prepare replies, but a person at the business can take over any conversation at any time using Human Takeover, which pauses automated responses so a team member answers directly. Businesses are expected to monitor conversations and step in for emergencies, complaints, pricing questions, and anything sensitive.

Provider requirements

Text delivery depends on a messaging provider account and any registration or approval the provider and carriers require. Each business is responsible for completing that setup for its own number and for following its provider's acceptable-use rules. This policy does not state that any specific messaging campaign is registered, approved, or currently active.

Prohibited use

  • Purchased, scraped, or rented phone number lists.
  • Messaging recipients who have opted out or never consented.
  • Misleading sender identity, deceptive offers, or content prohibited by carriers.
