Frequently Asked Questions

Effective date: Aug 28, 2026 · TradeRevive is operated by Hongin NC.

These answers describe how TradeRevive works today for businesses in North America. They are general product information, not legal advice.

Who is TradeRevive for?

Owners and office teams at local service businesses who want to reconnect with past customers, follow up on quiet opportunities, and keep inquiries, conversations, and appointments together. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, landscaping, and repair are examples, not limits. It is a business-to-business tool, not a consumer app.

Which industries are supported today?

This first release covers home services, auto services, beauty and wellness without medical treatments, restaurants and hospitality, professional services, retail, pet services including veterinary offices, and other everyday local service businesses. Healthcare and patient-facing businesses — doctors, hospitals and clinics, dental practices, mental and behavioral health, pharmacies, physical therapy and rehab — are not supported, because work involving patient information needs additional privacy and contractual safeguards. We do not have a date to share. Please do not upload medical records, diagnosis or treatment details, insurance information, or other patient health information.

Can I set it up myself?

Yes. You can create a workspace, explore sample data, add customers, and prepare a revival from inside the product. Live text delivery is separate: your business must complete the messaging-provider and carrier requirements for its own sender before live SMS is ready.

What does the service actually do?

  • Organizes leads you import or enter, including system type and last service date.
  • Helps you build and send follow-up text campaigns from your own messaging number.
  • Drafts replies and suggests appointment times for a person on your team to review.
  • Tracks proposed and confirmed appointments in one place.

What does it not do?

It does not guarantee bookings, revenue, reply rates, or any other outcome. It does not replace your dispatcher, review your recipient lists for legal compliance, provide legal or regulatory advice, or handle emergencies. It is not a dialer or a call center.

How much of this is automated, and who is responsible?

Automated drafting can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a specific customer. You remain responsible for reviewing communications before they go out where review matters, for booking and scheduling decisions, for the accuracy of what is sent, and for compliance with the rules that apply to your outreach. The workspace includes a takeover control so a person can step into any conversation.

Who owns the data we upload?

You do. We process your lead, conversation, and business records to provide and support the service, using vendors only to operate it. See Data Processing & Customer Data and the Privacy Notice for details.

What about text-message consent and opt-outs?

Messages go out from the business that holds the account, so consent is the account holder's responsibility. Recipients can reply STOP to stop messages and HELP for help, and message and data rates may apply. Registration or approval requirements from messaging providers and carriers apply to your own messaging account. Our SMS Messaging Policy describes the practices we expect.

How does pricing, billing, and cancellation work?

TradeRevive is $49 per month. One subscription includes up to 3 workspaces, 1,000 pooled outbound text segments per billing period, and the first business-texting registration for your legal business. Plan terms, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and taxes are described in the Billing Policy. Messaging and carrier charges are separate from our fees.

Can I use the 3 workspaces for different businesses?

No. The included workspaces are for locations, teams, or operating units of the same legal business. A separate legal business needs its own subscription and its own messaging registration.

What is a text segment, and what happens past 1,000?

Carriers count texts in segments: a plain-text message fits 160 characters in one segment, or 153 each in a longer message, and emoji or other special characters reduce that to 70 (67 in a longer message). When the included 1,000 segments are used up, new campaign sending pauses while customer replies and STOP or HELP handling keep working. Billing for usage beyond the allowance is not enabled, and we will notify you before any overage billing starts.

Do I have to register my business before texting?

Yes. North American carriers require the sending business to be registered. You provide your legal business details in the app, a person at TradeRevive reviews them with you, and nothing is submitted automatically. Your first registration for that legal business is included. If a new review is needed because details you provided were incorrect, your legal information changed, or your use case changed materially, we may pass through the exact third-party review cost with no markup, always after your explicit confirmation. If we caused the retry, we cover it.

What am I allowed to use the service for?

The Acceptable Use Policy lists what is and is not permitted, including limits on prohibited content and on how automated drafting may be relied upon.

How do I get support?

You may use the contact form and include your company name and what you were doing when the problem appeared. A dedicated support mailbox is being set up; while that setup is in progress the form will tell you plainly if delivery is unavailable. If your matter is urgent, use your existing contact at TradeRevive. We do not promise delivery or a specific response time.

How do I make a privacy or security request?

Send the request through the contact form and describe what you need — for example access, correction, or deletion of workspace data. If you are an end customer of one of our customers, contact that business first, because they control the record. The Privacy Notice explains what we handle and why.

Something is broken or urgent — what should I do?

TradeRevive is not an emergency service and must not be used for emergency dispatch or life-safety situations. For a true emergency, use your normal emergency procedures and local emergency services. For a service problem, report it through the contact form. We do not currently publish a live status page or a response-time commitment.

Where do I find the legal documents?

Everything is indexed in the Legal & Trust Center.
